
Double Headers
Here are a few brief details about our League.
Registrations:
Transfer deadline day approaching!
The last day to register or transfer players is 29th February 2012
Registrations throughout the season will take place at League Meetings. On weeks without a league meeting they will be on Thursday evenings @ Coventrians RFC between 7pm & 8:30pm.
Please Note: You must make an appointment to register on Thursday evenings, if no appointments are made the registration Secretaries will not attend.

We hope that the Weather holds off, and we manage to get through all of the fixtures without the need for evening matches or Double Headers, however, if they do become necessary please ensure that Double Headers are played in accordance with the following instructions.
Instructions for playing a Double Header
Examples Listed Below
Listed is the period of time to be played in each half of the 2 double header games.
The 2 matches will require 2 separate match sheets.
Periods of Play
Under 11
(1st match) 15 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 30 mins
(2nd match) 15 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 30 mins
Under 12
(1st match) 15 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 30 mins
(2nd match) 15 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 30 mins
Under 13
(1st match) 17½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 35 mins
(2nd match) 17½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 35 mins
Under 14
(1st match) 17½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 35 mins
(2nd match) 17½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 35 mins
Under 15
(1st match) 20 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 40 mins
(2nd match) 20 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 40 mins
Under 16
(1st match) 20 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 40 mins
(2nd match) 20 mins of two equal halves - period of play, 40 mins
Youth
(1st match) 22½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 45 mins
(2nd match) 22½ mins of two equal halves - period of play, 45 mins
Please Note
All the above matches shall be required to have a half-time interval, of a minimum of 5 minutes duration, in each of the 2 matches of the double header.
Any double header matches played without the above criteria being fully implemented will be made Void.
Clubs, when confirming the fixture with the appointed referee, must advise them that the scheduled fixture is to be played as a double header.
