Age limit Reminders
Here are a few details concerning F.A. guidlines on Age Restrictions within Junior Football.
Registrations:
Transfer deadline day approaching!
The last day to register or transfer players is 29th February 2012
Registrations throughout the season will take place at League Meetings. On weeks without a league meeting they will be on Thursday evenings @ Coventrians RFC between 7pm & 8:30pm.
Please Note: You must make an appointment to register on Thursday evenings, if no appointments are made the registration Secretaries will not attend.

Age Limit Reminders
Club Secretaries and Team Managers playing in season 2011/12 please note the clarification of Age Banding Rules below:
- To play affiliated football, the player must be six years old on or before 31st August (F.A. Rule 4).
- Under 8’s can not play league games for points, no league ranking, no knock out cup games allowed (F.A. Mini-Soccer Handbook). This includes end of season tournaments.
- To play in a game of more than 7v7, the player must be 10 on or before 31st August (F.A. Rule 4). Under 10’s players can play in under 11’s age band football providing they are playing no more than 7v7 and shall not be permitted or encouraged to play in a match between sides of more than seven players per side.
- To play adult football from this season 2011/12, the player must be 16 years old.
- To play Under 18’s football from this season 2011/12, the player must be 15 years old on or before 31st August (F.A. Rule 4).
- All players in this Competition must play within their correct age to comply with F.A. Rule 4.
- The players’ registration for the ensuing season shall only be accepted by the Registration Secretary on the qualification dates within the players’ age band.
